Halloween Phase 1...

So I am currently working at HL2, an advertising agency in Seattle, and they like to put on quite the party. Lots of people dressed up in group costumes, some in individual costumes, but most everybody dressed up. Because I am the receptionist, there was only one costume that made sense for me...

The Before Pictures...

So here are some of the "before" pictures. We are almost to the point that we can take good "after" photos, but I think I'm going to let these sit here a while so we can all bask in the glory that was our smoke and cat smell ridden house.

It really has come a long way.

This is the master bedroom, and yes, those are original mirrors. When we tore them off, the wall was almost completely white

This is the guest room/office. The neighbor said she was the neighborhood cat lady and we think she kept a bunch of them in here with cages. It stunk really bad and there were scratch marks on the door - kinda creepy.

This is the wall of pictures (we assume by deductive reasoning).

I know what you're thinking - no, its not brick, its wallpaper.

This is our lovely living room, panel board and everything.

This is the master bedroom again. That was the master closet...it is no longer with us. :)

Yuck. This was the first thing to go.

The kitchen.

Attn: Spoiler Alert!

So this weekend, Anthony and I went and saw Eagle Eye in the movie theater. Its been a while so we figured we would go. The movie was great. Shia Lebouff (or whatever) is an amazing actor and did a phenomenal job. The movie is kind of about big brother and what would happen if the government had full access of anything electronic. Some of it is quite far fetched but they did a good job of making it seem real and the action is really good. Dont bring kids though - there are a few sensitive parts in the beginning. Overall, I give this movie 4 stars.

So, this is our engagement picture, I know, but I wanted to try out the picture features and this is a good picture of us! So... it worked! yay! This is a lot easier to do than I thought.

The First... and hopefully not the last

Wow, our first blog entry, what do I say? Well, I guess I'll start by saying welcome to our blog! My friends have been saying its high time we start one, so here goes.

A brief update:

Anthony and I are now graduated and living in Des Moines, Washington (15 min. south of Seattle). We recently bought a house, have been vigorously fixing it up, and are finally living there as of last week. Its wonderful. Yesterday we cooked our first complete meal in our new kitchen. It consisted of garlic mashed potatoes, breaded chicken, and grilled vegis. It was so nice to come home from work and just be. Well, check back again soon, because I have lots of free time on my hands at work and so I plan to write a lot!
